Each year on the third Monday of January, we pause to honor the life, legacy, and enduring impact of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
This is a day to call, to reflect, serve, and recommit ourselves to the values of justice,
equality, and kindness.

Dr. King’s vision was rooted in the belief that every person deserves dignity, respect, and opportunity.
He empowered the nation to confront injustice and to imagine a future shaped by unity
rather than division.

While much progress has been made, Dr. King’s dream is not yet fully realized. Sadly, inequality and prejudice still exist. Dr. King invites us to ask ourselves:
How can I serve others?
How can I be a voice for kindness?

How to observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day:
Volunteer
Mentor
Donate
Offer time to people in need

As we honor Dr. King’s legacy today, let’s choose empathy over indifference, love over fear and treat each other with kindness and compassion.
