Kindness

Kindness is a Spirit-produced virtue marked by compassion, generosity, and moral goodness, expressed in practical actions to bless and build others—especially when they cannot repay you. It reflects God’s own nature and is motivated by love, not self-interest.

From Scripture, kindness is:

●    Rooted in God’s character – “But when the kindness and love of God our Savior                   appeared, He saved us…” (Titus 3:4–5). God’s kindness is gracious, merciful, and                 undeserved.

●    Empowered by the Spirit – It is a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23), meaning it                flows from a heart transformed by God.

●    Active and practical – “Do not merely look out for your own interests, but also for                  the interests of others” (Philippians 2:4). In the Bible, kindness is shown in deeds                 —feeding the hungry, encouraging the weary, forgiving offenses.
●    Unconditional and merciful – Jesus calls us to “love your enemies, do good to                       them… and you will be children of the Most High, because He is kind to the                             ungrateful and wicked” (Luke 6:35).
