Our Mission

…that we have chosen to accept is to perform secret acts of kindness and service for family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and strangers. As indicated in Matthew 6:1-4, we choose to do our missions of good deeds in secret to selflessly help others and not draw attention to ourselves, so that God receives all of glory for making a positive impact in the lives of those we help. When we act in this manner as GSS Agents, God also meets our own needs and blesses us abundantly.

At GSSA, we are dedicated to enlisting and nurturing compassionate volunteers, known as GSS Agents, who are committed to spreading kindness in their communities. Whether through small secret acts of kindness or carefully planned initiatives, our goal is to make the world a brighter, more compassionate place for all.

Through our headquarters, we coordinate larger-scale secret acts of kindness and provide vital support to non-profit organizations offering kindness programs for children, those in foster care, and individuals experiencing homelessness.

We work to raise funds to help build schools, community centers, and libraries in underserved communities experiencing a high level of poverty, offering vital resources for education, empowerment, and healthcare. Our efforts currently benefit poor regions in countries like Kenya, Jamaica and Mexico. Our goal is to create more GSS Agents wherever we go and serve, as we uplift individuals and families by providing compassion, hope, and opportunity where it's needed most.

Foundational Scripture

Matthew 6:1-4: "Take care! Don’t do your good deeds publicly or before men in order to be seen by them; otherwise, you will have no reward with and from your Father who is in heaven. Whenever you give to the poor, don’t shout about it as the hypocrites do-blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets and calling attention to their acts of charity! I tell you in all earnestness, they have received all the reward they will ever get. But when you do a kindness to someone, do it secretly-don’t tell the left hand what your right hand is doing. And your Father who knows all secrets will reward you openly."

Our Mission

God’s Secret Service Agents will act as instruments of His grace and love by carrying out the following purposes:

Recruiting and supporting a network/movement of GSS Agent volunteers (individuals, groups, churches and businesses ) to perform secret missions of service to people in need. We provide training, suggested missions, contests, and other tools to help GSS Agents complete secret missions/acts of kindness in their communities.
Implementing hands-on secret acts of kindness and large-scale community service projects near GSSA Headquarters in the greater Phoenix, AZ area.
Collaborating with nonprofit partners by providing mini-grants, anonymous donations, project support, and technical assistance. Our focus areas include teaching children kindness, promoting a culture of kindness and generosity within families, and supporting poor, homeless, or undereducated individuals, children, and families in need. This support extends locally, nationally, and internationally.
Creating and supporting a Kindness Koalition of other nonprofit organizations in the kindness space to magnify the impact of kindness in the world.
Constructing Schools, Community Center, Libraries and other infrastructure in poverty stricken, isolated communities in developing countries like Kenya, Jamaica and Mexico to house education, economic empowerment and healthcare programs for needy children and families to escape poverty.

Approach

GSSA provides creative/fun ways to volunteer by signing people up to be “covert agents” who perform SECRET missions/planned or random acts of kindness.

God’s Secret Service Agent’s (GSSA) innovative volunteer community service approach is based cheekily on the Mission Impossible TV Show and movies, as well as James Bond spy movies. It encourages people to sign up as Secret Service Agents commissioned by God to plan and conduct secret missions (acts of kindness) to help others in need.

GSS Agents, as members are called, have fun and find joy in spying out their “target mission assignments” (people they plan to help) and conduct secret acts of kindness suggested by GSSA or their own secret acts of kindness with pure motives, not expecting acknowledgement or anything in return. By regularly conducting secret missions of kindness (at least monthly, if feasible), GSS Agents spread love in the world and their own lives are often enriched and blessed by God.
