“Just Because Day” was invented in the late fifties by Joseph J. Goodwin of Los Gatos, California. It began as a wholesome family holiday celebrating the beauty of spontaneity in life and eventually grew into an annual celebration across the United States.

Unlike traditional holidays with rituals and food, “Just Because Day” invites us to break routine and embrace spontaneity.
