Every year, National Stress Awareness Day, “acknowledged on November 5, 2025, invites us to pause, check in with ourselves, and reset.” We’re reminded that nurturing our emotional health is important for our overall well-being.

National Stress Awareness Day is sponsored by the International Stress Management Association, a registered charity which teaches about stress and best practices for stress management.

What Causes Stress:
Chronic illness or injury.
Emotional problems.
Taking care of an elderly or sick family member.
Traumatic event.
Trouble sleeping or oversleeping.
Feeling mentally drained or unmotivated.

Ways to Reduce Stress
Take a 10-minute walk outdoors.
Practice deep breathing or mindfulness.
Limit screen time and digital overload.
Engage in an activity you enjoy.

How to Observe National Stress Awareness Day
Don’t Worry:
Keep away from negative vibes and do things that you love.
Go for a walk.
Get a massage.
Contemplate your stress-points:
Think about where most of your stress comes from.
