National Love Our Children week is a heartfelt reminder of the role we all play in shaping the lives of children. It calls us to pause, reflect, and intentionally pour love, care, and protection into the youngest members of our communities.

Children thrive when they feel safe, valued, and understood. Loving our children goes far beyond saying “I love you.” It’s found in the everyday moments, listening when they speak and guiding them with patience.

National Love Our Children Week was established in 2004 by the non-profit organization Love Our Children USA.

“Over the last two decades, the observance has gained support from celebrities, government officials, and child advocacy groups who use the day to promote educational resources. It has evolved from a simple awareness campaign into a day of nationwide activities that provide practical tools for families to improve their communication and bonding techniques.”
