SECRET

Mission Intel:

Meet Beatrice, A Resilient and Talented Young Girl Age: 10 years old Grade: 6th Grade School: Super Eagles Academy, Oloirien Village, Kajiado, Kenya About Beatrice: Beatrice is the eldest girl among four siblings in her family. Despite growing up in impoverished circumstances, she has shown exceptional intelligence and consistently achieves high grades. Beatrice has a passion for dancing, which she loves to do in her free time. Challenges: Beatrice faces significant barriers to her education due to deeply ingrained patriarchal norms in her Maasai community, which prioritize boys' schooling over girls'. This cultural practice perpetuates a cycle of educational disadvantage among girls, limiting their personal development and empowerment. Additionally, Beatrice has been diagnosed with Chronic Anemia, which sometimes causes her to miss school. The medical expenses related to her condition have placed an even greater financial strain on her family, making it difficult for them to afford her education. A Call for Help: For just $150, you can cover all of Beatrice’s school expenses for an entire year. This includes tuition, books, uniforms, and other necessary supplies. Your support can help Beatrice continue her education and pursue her dreams despite the challenges she faces. Mission of Hope: We invite you to join this secret "Mission of Hope" to support Beatrice’s education. Your contribution can make a significant difference in her life, enabling her to overcome the barriers she faces and reach her full potential. How to Help: Visit the GSSA Donate page.
